AJT Supplies, an enthusiast of all things fun and exciting, recently opened its mobile “one-stop party shop”.
Albert J. Todesca, III, is the driving force behind this endeavor. He has been in business for two decades, but always sees a wonderful opportunity for bringing smiles to people’s faces while providing endless memories.
“This was something that I really wanted to do,” Albert said when asked about his latest project. “There are two or three such places doing this in Massachusetts and one more in Connecticut. However, there wasn’t anyone doing this type of entertainment in Rhode Island. My mission here is introducing a new way to be fun, entertaining and different.”
Albert recalled how his new start-up company came to fruition, all of which happened within the last few years. Around the time when Covid-19 raged, Todesca purchased six bounce houses from a vendor, who saw no further use for them. Albert added more inflatables to his collection and now boasts more than 60 bounce houses.
They offer a variety of products from inflatables to concession machines to make any event shine. Not only do they bring the fun to you, but they also set up and break down everything needed for your event. It’s less stress for you!
“Foam Parties” is exactly what it sound like. Kids and adults can run around a huge pile of foam with age-appropriate music coming from a DJ that is supplied by the company. It takes roughly 20-30 minutes for them to set up the ultimate party experience! AJT uses a top-of-the-line foam cannon that shoots over six-feet high and can fill half a tennis court in size. Whether you rent their “Gaga Pit” as your foam zone, your driveway, or your backyard, AJT has you covered. They can accommodate any size party or occasion.
The foam they use is non-toxic, pet friendly, non-irritating and doesn’t ruin the grass—making this a fun activity for all.
For more excitement, they bring beach balls and other goodies to elevate the party experience.
“I attended ‘Foam Universe 2024’, which was a three-day training session on hosting these events,” Albert said. “There were face painters, balloon professionals and others who were making their living doing those things. I learned a lot from everyone there. Most importantly, I could foresee foam parties becoming huge in Rhode Island because there isn’t anything else like this around here.”
It was then that Todesca realized he had something new and different to offer Rhode Islanders. Todesca said early feedback has been overwhelmingly positive.
“Who wouldn’t want to feel like a kid again?” he asked. “We know that once this idea gets out there, other groups, organizations and non-profit groups are going to want to follow suit. We also give back to charities such as donating thousands of dollars to Boston Children’s Hospital and other worthy causes. We want to make our mark count in the communities.”
For even more fun, event organizers can add other amenities to their event such as a dunk tank or a water slide. For those who feel lucky, they can try their luck by renting their new claw machine that is filled with stuffed animals and other giveaways.
In addition to their foam parties, AJT Supplies has inflatables available for rent. People can choose from various types ranging from a traditional bounce house to combos and waterslides. There are enough options available for any occasion or any age.
