The magic returns this holiday season at the Blackstone Valley Polar Express!!! Embark on a 90-minute train ride to view the North Pole, and delight in the entertainment, including singing, games, a reading of the classic children’s story, “The Polar Express,” and of course, a visit from Santa!
The train’s Conductor will happily punch your custom die-cut golden ticket, which is given to every passenger, as they enter The Christmas Village.
- All ages are welcome on the train, but anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
- Tickets include a stage show and a super-fun time on a full-sized train, with storytelling, sing-a-longs, games, and more! Plus, enjoy complimentary photo opportunities with the characters, a cookie, hot chocolate, songbook, golden ticket, and silver bell, given to every child.
- Doors open 30 minutes before your ticketed time for special photo opportunities in front of their custom-made Polar Express backdrops, with the characters of the show.
- Merchandise can also be purchased online.
- The show starts at your ticketed time, and the show begins 15 minutes after train boarding. Plus, after the train returns to the depot, you’ll be able to take a complimentary photo with Santa.
- Each train car has its own presenter reading THE POLAR EXPRESS, and leading the performance, during your trip.
- There is also a photographer on most trips that follows the event around. A selection of these photos are posted on their Facebook page.
- The purchase of your tickets allows the Blackstone Valley Tourism Council full usage of any photos that you and/or your family may appear in.
Every year, beginning in November, and through the end of December, you can hop aboard The Polar Express Train Ride to experience the wonder of the story’s heartwarming meaning.
This magical experience will delight people of all ages, so round up the entire family for a memory making holiday adventure.
THE POLAR EXPRESS Train Ride is the largest fundraiser for Blackstone Valley Tourism Council, an international award-winning 501(c)(3) non-profit.
Proceeds from this event go toward their Blackstone Valley Heritage Environmental Trust Fund aimed at providing environmental education opportunities for local youth in Rhode Island & nearby Massachusetts.
