Summer, glorious summer, is right around the corner in the Ocean State, and for all of us natives, and tourists too, it’s a time when we truly enjoy everything that our great state has to offer. Leading up to the much warmer weather, cities across the state offer a tremendous number of fairs & festivals, along with amusing, captivating, and entertaining activities.
As we are now in the month of May, there are also many things to do during this month that lead up to the summer. I’ve never met anyone who was born and raised in Little Rhody who dreads the end of the cold and bitter winters, and May is when a glimpse of that end is finally peeking out to show a glimpse of events that will entertain and delight all who want to enjoy a great experience.
All across the state, the first thing that people want to do in warmer weather is anything outdoors, and thankfully, there is no shortage of outdoor activities. And, what’s always smack dab in the middle of any amazing Rhode Island event? Well, of course that’s its smorgasbord of…FOOD!
So, gather all of your favorite family members and friends and take part in one or more cool activities that make Little Rhody a special place, with more than its share of awesome, local foodie events.
